Happy Birthday Aunt Lori!

The string of birthday celebrations continued today with brunch for Aunt Lori's 29th birthday at La Miche in Bethesda. Here's a shot of Alex with the birthday girl (notice Alex is eyeing the mimosa):Alex and Ari had their first experiences in a restaurant high chair, and they seemed to enjoy the opportunity to sit with everyone at the table. They even had a little apple sauce and oatmeal for brunch:

The rest of the weekend was pretty relaxing. On Saturday, Mommy, Alex, and Ari had lunch with Mommy's friend Donna her twins Rena and Celia, who are two months older than Alex and Ari. After lunch, we took a trip to Toys R Us...lucky for Mommy's wallet, Alex and Ari didn't seem to know where they were.

Tonight is the beginning of Yom Kippur, so that means no solids for Mommy and Daddy until tomorrow at sundown, but Alex and Ari will try their first veggie...either squash or green beans (Mommy is leaning towards squash). Stay tuned to see how they like it!
