Merry Go Round

Alex and Ari took their first ride on a carousel this week! After lunch at Aunt Lori and Uncle Sam's house (where Alex and Ari had a chance to visit with both Ozzie and his "best pal" Quincey), Aunt Lori and Mommy took the kids down the street to a park with a big merry go round. We weren't sure how Alex and Ari would react to the big ride, but they seemed to enjoy it, so we're looking forward to going back again very soon.

This week we also had a visit from Alex and Ari's Great Aunt Betty and Uncle Juan Carlos, who were in town for just a few days after flying from Chile to New York to watch Cousins Denise and Jason graduate with their PhDs from Cornell. Congratulations, Denise and Jason! It was a quick visit, but we all enjoyed seeing Betty and Juan Carlos and hearing about graduation and the preparations for the arrival of Alex and Ari's newest cousin in late July/early August. Soon they will no longer be the "babies" in the family!
