Short Week

After a nice long weekend (which included a visit to "Poppy Jack's boat" and Miri and Opa's for a cookout), Ari and Alex have had a busy social schedule. Tuesday they had a little class reunion at a playdate at friend Abbie's house. They were so happy to see their school friends and their teachers, who joined us for the playdate. As usual, Kira received lots of attention from the older kids, including brand new big brother Adam. Alex especially loved playing with all of Abbie's toy cars, trucks and busses. Ari, in typical fashion, took to the doll house and puzzles.

Today we hosted our weekly neighborhood playgroup and since the weather was so nice we decided to meet at the tot lot across the street from us. We had a big crowd show up and everyone had fun swinging on the swings (which they did a great job sharing, since there were many more kids than swings) and sliding down the slide. Kira took it all in, watching the big kids do things she will do one day too.

We'll wrap up the shortened week with another outing with friends tomorrow and a playdate on Friday...details and pictures to come!
