Playgroup at the Lake

Today we had our weekly neighborhood playgroup at the nearby lake/shopping center, which hosts a bi-monthly children's concert series. First we met up with Tommy and his sister Macie for some playground time and then we joined the rest of our group at the concert stage, where we ran into lots of other friends. It was the same performer who was at the other outdoor concert last week but this time Ari and Alex could actually see him and enjoyed his songs, including their favorites "Itsy Bitsy Spider," "Hokey Pokey" and "Wheels on the Bus." After Alex and Ari decided it was a little too hot to be sitting out in the sun for the performance, we went to feed the ducks and then to play around (and in) the small fountain. At the fountain, a little boy tried to hit on Arielle and although she flirted back just a little bit, she told Mommy her true love is still Andrew.
