Yesterday Ari and Alex took their second road trip to New Jersey to attend their Great Aunt Joyce's annual Hanukkah celebration. This year, the festivities took place in Aunt Joyce's brand new home, which is only a 2.5 hour drive from our house (barring holiday traffic!)
Alex and Ari had a blast meeting all of their New Jersey relatives and seeing Aunt Joyce's beautiful new home for the first time. They especially loved the extra attention from their aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. They received such generous gifts-- including a few of their new favorite toys (an electronic drum from Aunt Joyce-- see pictures below-- and hand puppets from Aunt Ellen, Uncle Ted, and Cousins Steven and Kevin) and some very stylish outfits for when they're a little bigger. We can't wait to see Alex in the Kenneth Cole button-down, suede blazer, and hip jeans his cool Cousin Jessica and her boyfriend Josh picked out for him.
