Alex asks "where's my burger?"

Ari is ready for dessert:

2006 has been a good year for family...

...and friends (Mommy and Ari with Melissa, an old friend found again in 2006 and Mommy to A&A's best big pals):

After dinner, it was home for a bottle, bath, and bed time for the kiddos. Here they are in their cozy new PJ's from their "great grandma" Minnie (Minnie was Mommy's Zaide's girlfriend before he passed away several years ago, and she still holds a very special place in our hearts and our family. And she makes a mean latke.):

We have so much to be thankful for in 2006. If 2007 can be half as wonderful as this year, we are one lucky family. To all of our friends and family who visit this blog, please know you hold a special place in our lives and we wish you a happy, healthy New Year. May all of your wishes for the year ahead come true.

A wonderful post that summed up a wonderful night. Thank you so much for inviting us--we had so much fun. And I'm impressed you guys gave a bath when you got home! We were so beat that we just tucked them in, greasy french fry hair and all.
I'm so glad we found each other again in 2006.
Happy New Year to you and your family. I am so glad you had a good NYE. I agree that there is no better way to celebrate than with the family. It gives you time to reflect back on the past year. What a wonderful and exciting year we all had in 2006!! I can't wait to meet Ari and Alex.
Lisa, thanks again for everything. You were there to listen and offer support through my pregnancy and continue to do so now. It makes such a difference to have someone to talk to who can relate to you and share the same experience(s). You also told me that it got easier after the first 3 months and that saved me. :-)
Take Care!
