Luckily the diagnosis was just a run-of-the-mill cold (Kira tested negative for RSV, a particularly nasty manifestation of the cold in newborns) but by the end of the day on Wednesday, all three kids were pretty miserable, with Kira faring the best out of everyone thankfully. As a result, we've been laying low all week, sadly cancelling plans for the neighborhood play group, school and a play date on Friday. We've been trying to keep busy in the house, playing games, coloring, singing songs and finding other fun things to do while everyone recovers. Not many pictures from this week, but a few cute ones from around the house:
Alex and Ari help Mommy feed Kira (Alex asks "hold it?")

Ari took a sheet of stickers and put every single one on her shirt- and she's very proud of herself

In happier news, Kira turned six weeks old yesterday. At the doctor's office on Wednesday she weighed in at 10 pounds, 10 ounces! She's giving us more smiles and a little more sleep- she's gone as long as five hours at night so we're hoping that is a trend that will continue.
Hopefully by the end of the weekend everyone will be back to 100% again. We have a busy weekend planned so we'll just have to see how much of it we get to take part in as we see how everyone is faring. Mommy has a feeling this is just the start to a very long winter...
