Tonight we rang in the New Year with good friends Naomi, Les, Shara and Kailey. Ari and Alex were so excited to see Shara and had a great time playing in her super-fun basement. It meant a lot to Mommy and Daddy to spend the evening with each other and our dear friends, and meeting some new friends too. Kira was the first to show signs of tiring out a little before 9:00...Ari and Alex probably could have made it to midnight with all of their friends and fun toys and games, but for Kira's sake we left at about 9:00 and by 10:00 all of the kids were in bed, and Mommy and Daddy are probably close behind.
