This year, thankfully, we were all healthy and excited to see the show together. Ari and Alex had been anticipating it all week and woke up excited to see "C. Cookie" and his friends. Kira wasn't exactly sure what to make of the show at first- she alternated between crying and hysterical laughing, but after a sweet hug and reassurances from Ari, she enjoyed the show as much as the rest of us.

Kira isn't sure whether to be excited or scaredOn Saturday afternoon we went to a Holiday Party cookie exchange for our Parents of Multiples club. We brought some yummy chocolate and butterscotch chip blondies and in exchange came home with a big plate of assorted goodies. Ari and Alex had a blast playing with the train table and- a new discovery- the air hockey table. Alex was in heaven with all of the trucks and fire man equipment (the hosts are involved in the fire department and emergency preparedness and have fire fighting paraphernalia around the house). They also got to see their friends Rina and Celia and meet some new twin friends, too.
Sunday the only thing we had scheduled was our synagogue's Hanukkah celebration. Ari and Alex enjoyed making arts and crafts and Alex discovered latkes (Ari, in typical fashion, wouldn't try them). All three kids discovered gelt, a new favorite in our house. We all enjoyed a show by a talented (and funny) juggler.

Yesterday Ari and Alex went back to school while Mommy and Kira ran lots of errands. In the afternoon, we played around the house and Ari directed Alex to push her around in the doll stroller:

It has been so much fun watching Alex and Ari really "get" and remember the activities we do lately. They understand what is going on and we hope they are forming special memories of our fun family activities. We're all looking forward to next weekend and the start of Hanukkah!!!
