Holiday Weekend

Thanksgiving weekend is always a perfect opportunity to catch up with friends and family, especially since out-of-town friends are often back in the area to visit and most people have a whole four days off from work and other obligations.
Friday we were excited to have friends Jack and Abby and their parents Laura and Patrick (high school classmates of Mommy's) over for a playdate. Jack and Abby live in New York but they were in town to visit their grandparents so we had a chance to see them again. The last time we saw them, they were just three months old, so a lot has changed between then and now. Unfortunately, Mommy forgot to take a picture while they were here, but take our word for it- they've grown up a lot and Alex and Ari had a great time playing with their friends from the Big Apple.

In the afternoon we had more visitors- friends (big) Alex, Vivi, Zach and their parents Mark and Melissa (Alex and Ari's godparents and the reason Mommy and Daddy met in the first place!) Again, Mommy forgot to take pictures...but she did take some cute pictures of Alex and Ari keeping Kira company on the activity mat:

Today Miri and Opa came over for a visit before we took a trip to Costco and then went over to Nana and Poppy's for dinner with Aunt Lori, Uncle Sam and Cousin Ozzie. Alex and Ari love going to Nana and Poppy's because of the cool toys- Alex loves the oversized teddy bear, in particular, and Ari loves one of the books Nana has at her house.
We took advantage of the fact that all three kids were awake and in good moods to take a family picture...and amazingly got one where everyone is looking at the camera!

So far, a great holiday weekend- and still another day of it left to enjoy!
