It was an unseasonably warm (75 degrees!) day today, so we had a chance to take a trip to the tot lot in the morning before the kids' nap. In the afternoon, we decided to get out of the house for a bit to do some holiday shopping and take advantage of the Thanksgiving day sales before heading to Miri and Opa's house for Thanksgiving dinner.
While the kids weren't crazy about turkey, they did like Nana's cranberry compote, and Ari liked her sweet potato casserole. And of course, they also devoured dessert. We all enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate with much of the family (Miri, Opa, Nana, Poppy, Aunt Debbie, Uncle Jason, Cousins Naomi and Jonathan) and family friends Susy, Jose, Jonas, Julie, and Jonas and Julie's son Emmett. Kira napped for the first part of the evening, but woke up in time to make an appearance and get some extra attention (and holding time) from everyone.

We had a wonderful meal and feel so luck to have so much for which to be thankful!
